Dear AMCD Members,

The anticipated publish date of the 2013 Summer Edition of The Multicultural Counselor newsletter is June 2013. This electronic newsletter is another resource for staying current and our way of keeping our membership informed about events in AMCD as well as current events in the field of multicultural counseling.  The newsletter includes sections for the Presidential Message, Executive Council Decisions, Writer’s Consortium, a Graduate Corner for and about our future leaders, Graduate Representatives from other divisions and their activities, and AMCD Activities at all levels (Regional Representatives, Committees, and the Vice Presidents of Ethic Concerns’ Activities).  It will also feature information on international news, member articles, and announcements, and specific and current counseling issues.

We encourage AMCD members to send us brief articles of interest to AMCD members. See below for submission guidelines. We welcome your feedback and ideas!

Items can include cutting edge counseling strategies and techniques, a personal reflection, a review of a multicultural counseling book or other resource, an announcement or description of an upcoming event or conference and awards and celebrations, and photos of counseling activities or events. Limit featured article submissions to 500 words or less and other items such as announcements and events and activities to 150 words or less. All submissions remain the property of The Multicultural Counselor. No returns.
